Security
We protect you and your projects from common online threats. Traffic is filtered for malicious requests and DDoS so the app stays available when you need it. Data in transit is encrypted; our edge and app layer use industry-standard TLS. We rely on Cloudflare for edge security and DDoS mitigation so you get enterprise-grade protection without thinking about it.
Bottom line: your sessions and project data are shielded so you can focus on the work.

Infrastructure
Stability and reliability matter when you’re on a deadline. We run on infrastructure designed for zero-downtime deploys and automatic scaling. The app is hosted on Vercel with global edge delivery, so you get fast load times and fewer “site down” surprises. Backend services are built to scale with demand so performance stays consistent as usage grows.

Data & privacy
We work continuously and proactively to keep your data as secure as possible. Our database and server infrastructure are maintained in the European Union, where strict GDPR requirements are met as a matter of course. That foundation is how we build everything else.
We’re clear about what we store and what we don’t. Your account data, projects, storyboards, and asset metadata are stored to run the product and keep your work persistent. We do not sell your data. AI-generated images, video, and some text features are produced via third-party APIs; for how each provider processes those requests, see fal.ai/privacy and Google Gemini data governance.
You keep ownership of your content.
GDPR & Data Residency
FOXCUT stores and processes user data within the European Union. Our database runs in Ireland (AWS eu-west-1) and our application functions execute on EU-based infrastructure. Your personal data stays within the EU in accordance with GDPR requirements.
We do not transfer personal data outside the EU without appropriate safeguards. Our AI providers process requests under their own privacy policies. We do not add additional data use claims on top of theirs.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Open a support ticket and we'll take care of it.
